Educational Qualifications of RSSB VDO Recruitment

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.  Desirable: Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications or equivalent.

Selection Process RSSB of VDO Recruitment

Preliminary Examination: Objective-type exam covering General Knowledge, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Geography, Agriculture, Rajasthan History & Culture, and Basic Computer Knowledge. Main Examination: Objective-type exam with similar subjects but at a higher difficulty level. Document Verification: Verification of educational, caste, and other certificates.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the RSSB official website or SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in. 1. Register using SSO ID and complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done. 2. Pay the application fee online via E-Mitra kiosk or Common Service Centre (CSC). 5. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Language Skills (50 marks): Hindi and English grammar (Senior Secondary level), paragraph-based questions. Mathematics (30 marks): Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation (Secondary level). General Knowledge (20 marks): Current affairs, history, polity, and economy of India and Rajasthan. Geography & Natural Resources (20 marks): Physical geography, resources of India and Rajasthan. Agriculture & Economy (20 marks): Agricultural practices and economic resources of Rajasthan. Rajasthan History & Culture (20 marks): Historical events, art, culture, and traditions of Rajasthan. Basic Computer (10 marks): Computer organization, hardware/software, operating systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
